SUMMARY:
As a Chrome Originator, your role is to ensure that the company secures a steady and cost-effective supply of chrome, manage relationships and logistics effectively, complies with regulatory standards, and strategically navigates market conditions to support overall business objectives.

Supplier Relationships:

• Develop and maintain relationships with chrome producers, mining companies, and other suppliers\
• Negotiate contracts and terms of supply, ensuring favourable conditions for the company

• Identify and evaluate potential sources of chrome
• Manage the procurement process, including issuing requests for quotes (RFQs), assessing bids, and assist in finalizing contracts

• Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and delivery of chrome
• Address and resolve any logistical challenges or disruptions that arise

• Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and communications with suppliers
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, market trends, and performance metrics

• A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
• Proven experience in the specific commodity market
• Strong understanding of market trends, economic factors affecting supply and demand, and commodity-specific data
• Proficiency in financial software, market analytics tools, and standard office applications
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to maintain ongoing client relationships
