JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client Services Administrator - (MITCHELL'S Plain - Western Cape)

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Matric, RE5, COB in Long Term Insurance and investments - completed as well as two years client services administration experience. 

  • File and keep documentation for a period as required by the legislation Istrate Claims
  • Verify claims documents
  • Claim forms – completion
  • Submit any outstanding documentation/ claims to Head office
  • Keep claims register updated
  • Adhere to client service procedures: maturities, policy contracts, loan applications, cancellations, amendments, financial and general enquiries
  • Update client personal details and AIMS notes
  • Supply correct and exact advice to clients on products and services (TCF)
  • Inform clients as well as update changes to their policy (TCF)
  • Liaise with relevant departments to gather information to resolve clients’ queries
  • Maintain required business retention rate
  • Manage all complaints and enquiries
  • Escalate complaints to Office Manager/ Complaints Handling Officer
  • Follow complaints procedure
  • Handle incoming calls and walk-in clients
  • Advise clients on cancelations
  • Inform client of the disadvantages of cancelation
  • Retain policy by proposing different options (loan, partial surrender paid up)
  • Inform relevant Sales Manager of the intended cancelation for retention
  • As per client's request follow the standard cancelation procedure
  • Office Administration
  • Manage mail and fax
  • Prepare statistical reports
  • Aid with data capturing when needed
  • Encourage clients to complete the survey
  • Capture client information
  • Inform clients of share status
  • Update client's information on Aims systems
  • Register and forward to Head office
  • Adhere and comply to FSB board notice in terms of FAIS
  • Keep record systems up to date
  • File and keep documentation for a period as required by the legislation
