Cloud Architect required to join an award-winning company based in Glasgow City Centre.
The Company -
An international law firm with offices all over the globe. Their IT provision is of paramount importance to them as their employees need round the clock access to their systems which need to run like a Swiss watch. Cases depend on it. They are continually growing across their international network of offices to provide exceptional standards of service and are currently building a Global Cloud Centre or Excellence to optimise their use of cloud services.
The Role -
You will bring along your strong Azure knowledge to help develop the new cloud centre, improving all aspects of cloud solutions. You will be responsible for designing the cloud platform, perform risk assessments with the current system architecture to define roadmaps for migrations to Azure. You will provide advise, support and document to assist in projects during the transition and process requirements in an Agile fashion.
You will have the following Skills/Experience -
** Experience working within an Agile Environment
** Extensive knowledge and experience building, supporting, and maintaining Azure environments
** Strong knowledge of Git, PowerShell, ARM templated and Deployment automation
** Experience working with Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) products; Azure SQL
Beneficial but not essential skills-
** Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer
** Microsoft Advanced/Expert-level Certifications; Architect Expert
** Experience with Enterprise Architecture and Service Management frameworks
The company promote a healthy work life balance and are flexible with remote working or from their office in Glasgow City Centre, whichever suits you best. The hours are Monday to Friday between 9:00am - 17:30pm with occasional out of core hours to support any system changes/maintenance or to support project work.
