CloudOps Engineer required to join a software company with offices both in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
They are a global company with big name clients, who are growing rapidly at the moment, which offers lots of opportunity for growth. They create a web-based product managing data for financial companies, ensuring the data is being used within regulations.
They are constantly keeping up with modern technology and creating new projects for the teams to get involved in.
You will be joining a small close-knit team of experienced Cloud Operation Engineers. Day-to-day you'll be hands-on and a key part of the role with be fostering strong relationships with external cloud providers and internally across the business. You'll be focused on working with customers to make a move to an Azure-hosted platform - the aim over the next couple of years is to migrate the majority of their clients over.
You might have experience as a DevOps Engineer, or within the cloud space in general but as a Support Engineer, or on the infrastructure side of things. If you have some experience monitoring/managing cloud environments, we'd be keen to hear from you!
You will have the following skills/experience -
**Experience and knowledge of SQL Server/Azure SQL
**Experience with creating automation solutions - Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitHub
**Some scripting experience - PowerShell or similar
**Exceptional cloud experience - Azure
Desirable experinece in -
**SQL Server
**Azure
**Linux
**DevOps
The salary on offer is up to £45,000 (plus benefits) depending on experience and they have offices in both Glasgow and Edinburgh, offering hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office per week.
