Cloud Platform Engineer needed for a technology company in Edinburgh.
They are a global company specialising in animal health technology supporting the veterinary industry from practice management solutions to product wholesales. They are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join the product development team to help them move more towards a more technology focussed, cloud first approach.
You will join a small agile team providing quality infrastructure tooling, working closely with the team lead ensuring all tasks are successfully completed in a timely manner. You will be deploying and maintaining high availability SaaS products within the cloud environment, using Infrastructure-as-code principles.
You will have the following skills and experience -
**Extensive cloud experience - ideally Azure.
**Knowledge of technologies such as Terraform and ARM.
**Experience working with cloud networking and IAM policies.
Desirable (not essential) -
**Knowledge of Docker and Vagrant
**Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Jira)
**Exposure to containerisation; Kubernetes

Their office is based in Edinburgh and the team are friendly and sociable; they are extremely flexible on fully remote working with very occasional days in the office (once a month).
