Code 10 Driver

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Petroleum Oil and Gas sector is looking for a Code 10 Driver to join their team based in Durban (Empangeni)

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Experience: 

• Standard 8 (Grade 10) or Matric certificate
• +- 3 years driving experience

• Must have valid driver’s licence – Code 10
• Valid dangerous goods certificate
• Valid forklift licence will be an advantage
  

• To perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed.
• Ensure that all payload on route is safely loaded and that all measures will be taken to ensure no stock losses occur.
• To ensure the delivery vehicle is maintained and in proper running order.
• Always keep the delivery vehicle clean and neat.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets diligently and correctly.
• To check and sign that all stock being loaded per delivery is correct and corresponds with the pick ticket and delivery note.
• Responsible for fueling the truck and submitting tickets for purchase of such fuel to the supervisor.
• Attend and successfully complete all necessary staff orientation and training functions.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols implemented by the company at all times.
• Report all incidents immediately to the office and complete an Incident Report form timeously.
• Assist with weekly and monthly Inventory Count
• Housekeeping of warehouse to be done as and when needed.
