A start-up company is currently seeking a Collection Manager to join their finance team.  As the Manager you need to ensure the most effective and profitable operation of the Credit Department.

As a Collection Manager you will responsible for the following:

• Ensure that the outstanding balances on the debtors book is kept to the minimum and collections are maintained
• Manage the staff responsible for collecting debt
• Reduce bad debt
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures applicable to the department
• Provide regular reports relating to collections
• Maintain an element of good customer service
• Develop and maintain relationships with all stake holders in the business
• Ensure staff are adequately equipped and skilled to perform tasks

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)

Credit Management certificate will be beneficial

Minumum of 5 years’ experience in management position

Management experience is preferred
