Our client in the automotive industry, based in Gqeberha, seeks to employ a Commercial Assistant, qualified in Accounting/Cost Accounting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Maintenance of all existing customer product pricing analysis and schedules.
Calculation of impact of supplier increases on selling prices.
Create new and maintain existing BOMs.
Assess impact and review accuracy of steel/processing increases.
Maintain customer files.
Assist with collection and analysis of sales data for monthly reports and annual budgets.
Maintenance of archives for commercial department.
Arrange with courier service regarding shipping of samples/emergency repairs etc.
First point of contact for clearing/forwarding agents in respect of all imports/exports and ensure product reaches end destination with correct documentation.
Maintenance of all new and updated prices on BAAN.
Assist Commercial Manager with adhoc investigations and compilation of data.

Requirements:

NDip with majors in Accounting/Cost Accounting
1 year experience in a financial/commercial role essential
