Commercial Litigation Secretary

SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a dynamic Secretary with experience within the Legal space.

POSITION INFO:

Calling on all Legal Secretaries to forward your CV and apply for this position in a dynamic Legal organisation.

Duties:

• Opening new files and onboarding new clients
• Capturing fees, invoicing, debt collection and debt management
• Formatting of documents, copy-typing and preparing execution versions of agreements
• Maintaining electronic and hardcopy filing systems
• Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
• Liaise with internal staff
• General personal errands

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• Secretarial Diploma or Legal Secretarial Diploma or Paralegal qualification will be an advantage
• 5 years plus working experience as a legal/commercial secretary
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word programs
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent typing skills, at least 60 words per minute
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent command of English language - both written and verbal
• Ability to work well under pressure 
• Team player who enjoys responsibility
• If you have Practice Manager experience, that will be to your advantage.
