Job Title: Commercial Underwriter

Position:

A commercial underwriter is sought for a hospitality book of business. This role involves underwriting a personal lines-based product that includes some commercial elements, specifically public liability and business interruption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite applications for the hospitality book of business.
• Evaluate risks associated with the product offerings.
• Collaborate with team members to manage a high volume of workloads.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Experience in underwriting is preferred, but extensive commercial experience is not a strict requirement.
• Familiarity with Tial would be beneficial, though not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle a significant workload.

Work Environment:

• This position is fully remote; a functional home office setup is required.

Compensation:

• Salary ranges from R10,000 to R20,000 per month, based on quality and experience.
