POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
Routine maintenance

Checking oil, lubrication, batteries, nuts and bolts, and other items

Diagnosing problems

Using advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues in a vehicle

Repairing and replacing parts

Fixing damaged electrical components and parts, and repairing or replacing worn parts like brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors

Preventing problems

Taking steps to prevent new problems from developing

Communicating with clients

Explaining automotive problems and repairs to clients

Issuing quotes

Issuing quotes to customers

Performing engine rebuilds

Performing tasks from routine services to complete engine rebuilds

Reading manuals

Reading and understanding operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years in same or similar role as Truck Mechanic / Service Advisor experience in a Commercial Motor Industry environment
Excellent understanding of automotive trucking industry
Commercial Vehicle experience ESSENTIAL!!!
