SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining house industry is currently looking for a Commissioning Manager for a 12 months contract to be based in Mpumalanga.

PURPOSE:

To manage the client Commissioning Coordinators for a project or area within a project, controlling all contractor activities via a multi-Disciplinary team for the commissioning of a construction project on site.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAJOR CHALLENGES: - Safety - Commissioning sequencing and planning linked to construction schedule - Proactively manage the financial impact of changes in project scope - Contractor Commercial responses - Commissioning documentation management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B Tech Construction Management (Essential/Minimum)

Certificate Project Management (Essential/Minimum)

Certificate First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)

B Eng (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum or)

EXPERIENCE:

8 years in relevant construction/ commissioning and commercial exposure. (Project size dependent) Construction and commissioning.

QUALIFY CONTROL: Ensure alignment with key elements of projects: support the development of commercial contracts from a quality control perspective.
Management and co-ordination of external QA and QC service providers
EXPERIENCED IN LARGE MINING PROJECTS (PREFERABLE)
