SUMMARY:
Communications Assistant required for Stellenbosch based organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an ideal position for a young Communication, PR or Marketing graduate to learn while giving communication-related administrative support to a seasoned Communications team.

Key responsibilities:

Provide administrative support
Maintain production schedules
Assist with maintaining communications libraries
Scheduling and/or publishing of content to social media and other digital platforms
Assist with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
Conduct research that enables effective content production
Be prepared and willing to perform tasks outside the given job description when asked from time to time.

Requirements:

Post-matric qualification in Communication, Journalism, Media, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Detail-orientated, highly organised, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional command of the English language.
Be able to work under pressure.
Experience with scheduling content to social media channels and desktop publishing advantageous
