SUMMARY:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Compliance and Corporate Governance Officer to join their team.

This is a high-pressure role, and you will be the right-hand to the Company Secretary.

POSITION INFO:
Compliance:

Design and implementation of systems and controls to ensure compliance.
Document, develop and update compliance, regulatory protocols and policies.
Review all critical business policies from a regulatory compliance perspective and make recommendations for improvement;
Draft and review contracts in line with company requirements and legislation
Research, prepare and present compliance reports and maintain awareness of any laws and regulations relevant

Corporate Governance:

Provide overall administrative support to the Company Secretary with administration, regulatory compliance, meeting management, corporate governance, and related services.
Annual Return filings and other CIPC-related matters
Assist with drafting and/or reviewing ordinary and special resolutions and minutes.
Preparation for the board and committee meetings: collating documents for the meeting packs from the relevant key players
Provide overall assistance to the Group Company Secretary.

Qualifications and Experience

Completed LLB (Bachelor of Laws)
Admitted Legal Practitioner
Previously worked in a company secretarial and compliance role
