Conferencing & Events/ Banqueting Floor Supervisor

As our Conferencing & Events Floor Supervisor, you are an inspiring, empowering and results-orientated leader with a passion for service excellence whilst maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals.

This role will see you supervising assigned shifts, including late shifts, ensuring venues are set up correctly and events run smoothly. Delighting our guests by offering trendsetting and innovative ideas and outstanding service experiences and ensuring staff are trained and can provide world-class service to our guests will form part of this role.

You will lead a team, encouraging teamwork and personal accountability and promoting staff engagement and retention. Your duties will include effectively delegating responsibilities to meet event requirements and maintain operational efficiency, supporting and supervising the team during events, and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

You have a Matric Certificate with a relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised South African or International Educational Institution and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy, high-demand environment.

You will bring excellent communication skills and a proactive, decisive approach to this role, demonstrating your innovative mindset and commitment to quality. Your strong client focus, market orientation, and solid financial and business acumen will drive success. With excellent C&E knowledge, strategic insight, and a talent for planning and implementation, you will excel in meeting objectives and exceeding expectations. Owning your transport ensures flexibility and reliability in meeting the demands of the role.
