SUMMARY:
Join a forward-thinking construction team as a Project / Construction Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects. Reporting directly to the company directors, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to drive project success from inception to completion.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:

Define project scope and produce tender and contractual project programmes.
Execute and monitor projects to ensure alignment with time, quality and cost.

Stakeholder & Team Management:

Manage and negotiate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Procurement & Resource Management:

Negotiate and oversee subcontractor contracts and performance.
Manage resources on site; foremen, labour, plant, equipment, etc.

Financial Oversight:

Continuously monitor budgets and implement cost minimisation strategies.
Maximise profit margins while ensuring project quality and compliance.

Reporting & Insights:

Provide progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction.
Proven track record of managing diverse projects (hospitals, warehouses, schools, residential developments, etc.)

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of project management software (e.g. MS Projects).

Certifications:

Any relevant construction and project management certifications are advantageous (e.g., JBCC Contracts, Health & Safety Management, etc).

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Technical understanding of construction-related activities
