A leading company in the telecommunications industry is looking for a skilled Right of Way (ROW) Specialist to manage all outgoing and incoming ROW applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for liaising with local municipalities, service providers, and road agencies to ensure timely approvals for network connectivity and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and coordinate Right of Way applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and municipal regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal stakeholders, utilities, and road authorities.
- Handle and resolve disputes with municipalities and external stakeholders, consulting legal counsel when necessary.
- Support OSP Planning by providing input to reduce municipal rejections of proposed plans.
- Track and update ROW applications using ERP tools, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business processes.
- Oversee the processing of municipal wayleave account statements and ensure timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant wayleave processes and industry regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a 3-year technical qualification or possesses relevant technical experience.
- Has experience in managing Right of Way applications within the telecommunications or civil infrastructure sector.
- Possesses excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage municipalities and service providers effectively.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to navigate regulatory challenges.
- Has experience using ERP systems for reporting and tracking ROW applications.
