The Fancourt Marketing Team, representing our internationally acclaimed golf and leisure resort, is looking to recruit a
Content Creator. We need someone who can capture the essence of the experience and lifestyle we offer, and who can communicate that effectively across various platforms (internal, external and digital).
We’re looking for someone to produce and manage the quality and quantity of content distributed throughout the Company and outside the Company and to ensure that the Company’s reputation and voice add to the quality of traffic generated.
KEY COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURS: The ideal candidate will have above average content writing skills and copywriting skills with active listening and learning, critical and analytical thinking, decision-making and complex problem-solving skills. The role also requires someone who is competent in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels, establishing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, using various technological resources and systems, making decisions and solving problems, and organising, planning, and prioritising work.
We are looking for someone we can trust to pay attention to the detail, but not lose sight of the main objectives. We need a team player who is dependable, cooperative, and does not shy away or gets demotivated by challenging goals and a highly pressurised environment.
Key performance areas are all tied to the generation and management of this content and the success it has in our various revenue streams (domestic and international).
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Grow and manage the company’s brand, position and presence in the market;
- Develop, manage and implement media and marketing solutions and campaigns across all marketing disciplines;
- Develop and manage both internal and external communications including editorial, social media and audience development efforts for all branded content;
- Ensure that all media, communication and brand exposure initiatives and content is aligned;
- Write editorials, blogs and news content on relevant topics;
- Administration of regular publishing schedules and plan specific campaigns.
MS Office proficiency is critical, relevant work and industry experience is very important, a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous, but the right attitude, energy and being a culture fit is not negotiable.
