Engineering company based in Anderbolt, Boksburg has an urgent CONTRACT (3 months) position for a Conventional Centre Lathe Turner.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
Red Seal Trade Tested Artisan - Advantage
5+ years Centre Lathe Turning experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to use various measuring equipment

Duties / Responsibilities:
Machining of workpieces according to drawing
Measuring of work pieces using measuring equipment e.g. Vernier callipers and micrometres
Communicating with superiors regarding work procedures and quality aspects of tooling and workpieces
Daily housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment
