SUMMARY:
CONVENTIONAL MILLING MACHINE OPERATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Skill/Tasks required
    1. Mill external keyways on shafts
    2. Drill holes in flanges using PCD function on the readout
    3. Jig bore holes on flanges using PCD function on readout
    4. Mill square blocks and flanges
    5. Any other milling functions
 
  1. Measuring equipment required to use
    1. Outside micrometer
    2. Inside micrometer
    3. Telescopic gauges
    4. Vernier
    5. Depth micrometer
    6. Vernier
    7. DTI – Dial indicator/Clock gauge.
