Conventional Vertical Boring Mill Machinist

SUMMARY:
Engineering company based in Anderbolt, Boksburg has an urgent vacancy for a Conventional Vertical Boring Mill Machinist and the successful candidate will need to be a Trade Tested Turner with no less than 8 years hands on experience on Conventional Vertical Boring Mill machines.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Red Seal / Trade Tested Conventional Turner
Minimum 8 years conventional vertical boring mill experience
Ability to read drawings and use measuring equipment

Duties / Responsibilities:
Setting of workpieces
Machining of workpieces according to drawings
Measuring of work pieces using measuring equipment e.g. Vernier callipers and micrometres 
Communicating with superiors on a daily basis about work procedures and quality aspects of tooling and workpieces.
Daily housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment
