POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Accountant to join their Johannesburg-based team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, reporting, and strategy across the organization’s global portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with global standards.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Oversee cash flow management, tax compliance, and financial risk assessment.
Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.
Drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

Skills:

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification.
5+ years of experience in corporate finance or financial accounting, preferably in a global context.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards.
Experience with financial audits and reporting at a global level.
