Duties:
 

• Collect and maintain cost information in a comprehensive expenses database.
• Construct efficient data accumulation systems for accurate reporting.
• Plan and record variable costs to enhance financial visibility.
• Review standard and actual costs, ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare budgeting reports for strategic financial planning.
• Analyse and report on profit margins for informed decision-making.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions to enhance profitability.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CIMA Qualified is a BIG Plus

• 3 - 6 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
• Strong technical abilities in financial reporting, analysis, and management, including proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
