Cost Management Accountant - Manufacturing

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
• Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies between actual and standard costs.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize cost efficiency.
• Support in pricing strategies by providing accurate cost data.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in manufacturing.
• Accounting/Finance Degree Non-Negotiable (SAICA Accredited) 
• Completed Articles Highly Beneficial
• SAIPA / AGA / CMA Qualification - Highly Beneficial 
• Proficiency in Sage 200 and Sync systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cost control, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
