SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a suitable candidate to update, review and develop course material (including, but not limited to, study material, assessments and slides) for the, Corporate Education and School of Public Management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Review/ develop/ update workbooks
Research and develop new learning material as required
Include/update new information into workbooks when required
Customise/modify workbooks when required
Send new course material for revision to Subject Matter Expert
Incorporate advice from the Subject Matter Expert into material
Edit workbook language and format where necessary; and
Ensure workbooks and assessments are aligned with the correct learning outcomes
Assess and moderate assignments and examination question papers as offered by the organisation
Provide academic and administrative support to the organisation
Assist with planning for the development of new programmes and course material
Provide assistance to academic staff making use of the course material
Facilitate, when required, in specific areas of expertise
Other responsibilities as determined by the management team

Qualifications and Experience

Masters Degree, minimum requirement, in Humanities, Commercial or Legal discipline
Minimum of three years experience in education, business, law, proofreading, advertising, editorial, publishing or post-secondary education environment
Superior proofreading, editing, and communication skills are essential; and
Experience with learning design, LMS, and editing is an advantage
