Credit Controller

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a meticulous and detail-oriented Creditor Controller to join our client’s dynamic team in Kloof.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing creditor accounts and ensuring accurate financial processing.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile creditors’ invoices, statements, and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all creditor transactions are recorded and processed in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of payments and ensure proper filing.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve any invoice discrepancies or queries.
• Prepare and process payment batches within the required timeframes.
• Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accounts are up to date.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to creditors.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure adherence to payment terms.
• Work closely with the finance team to support overall accounting functions.

• At least 5 years of cumulative experience in a creditors role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Sage Evolution, and MS Excel.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
• Highly accurate and methodical with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stress and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
