SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Credit Controller for a permanent role based in Durbanville, Western Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with at least 4 years debtors function experience (construction industry)
Excellent communication skills & high level of numeracy and literacy
Must have a very strong personality and able to set up and enforce processes
Valid drivers and own transport – no public transport in the area
Clear criminal record, SA citizen and contactable work references
Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Fluency in English and Afrikaans
Ability to liaise with customers who are overdue with payments
Previous experience with CGIC a definite requirement
Lombards insurance experience beneficial

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Control credit limits and apply for cover via CGIC
Audit price checking
Establish and control credit limits
Institute and maintain credit control management policies
Handle all credit applications
Responsible for invoicing
Follow up on age analysis (debt collection)
Ensure credit control policy is maintained and in place
Liaise with attorneys regarding outstanding debt collection
Follow credit note request process
Attend sales meetings
Keep customers on account list updated
Keep own risk customer list updated
Dealing with customer related enquiries

Salary: R360 000.00 (slightly negotiable) for the ideal candidate
