POSITION INFO:

Credit Cost Clerk
Location: Elandsfontein, Alberton
Salary: R206,000 PA CTC

To ensure that all creditors-related and general administrative support is rendered in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.

Key Performance Areas and Indicators

CREDITORS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (55%)

• Accurate and timely capturing and payment of invoices daily.
• Ensure completion of supplier invoicing, mailing, filing, electronic processing, and related functions.
• Respond to supplier queries.
• Attend finance meetings and report on queries or problems.
• Perform creditors reconciliations.

Indicators:

• Invoices captured and paid on time.
• Supplier invoices emailed, filed, and tracked appropriately.
• Supplier queries addressed promptly.
• Meeting attendance with relevant reports and proposed solutions.

COMPLIANCE (15%)

• Operate within controls and procedures to maintain operational integrity.
• Report risks or concerns to management.
• Promote compliance with regulations and procedures to avoid wasteful expenditure.
• Monitor Procure to Pay processes for on-site service providers.

Indicators:

• Compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Risks reported to the manager.
• Waste minimized through effective monitoring.

CUSTOMER SERVICE (20%)

• Provide assistance to employees while fostering positive working relationships.
• Identify and resolve problems in alignment with company values.
• Handle sundry administrative tasks, such as raising or following up on purchase requisitions.

Indicators:

• High client/employee satisfaction.
• Reduced discrepancies and comebacks.

COST CONTROL (10%)

• Assist in timely Procure to Pay execution for factory service vendors.
• Report delays to the manager.

Indicators:

• Monthly reporting accuracy.
• Escalation of delays as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)

Experience

• Minimum: 2 years as a Clerk or similar role in a Manufacturing environment
