Our client is seeking experienced Creditors & Debtors Clerk, who is fluent in Afrikaans to join their team.

Location: Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth

Job type: On-site

Duties and Responsibilities

• Credit applications
• Matching paperwork – PO, DN, invoice
• Capturing on Pastel
• Creating accounts for new suppliers/debtors
• Creating spreadsheet
• Journals and accruals
• Creating invoices
• Reconciliations by comparing GL – Supplier statements
• Resolve outstanding queries with supplier/debtors
• Email-recons to suppliers/debtors
• General ledge recons.
• Yearend schedules for auditors
• Filing and general admin and office duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Financial Qualification will be an advantage
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Detailed knowledge of Pastel
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
• Knowledge of VAT
• Fluent in Afrikaans

• Ability to learn and adapt to changing situations.
• Reliable and punctual.
