SUMMARY:
Our client, a National manufacturing company, with their Head Office based in Durban, seeks your creditors experience, to take up this exciting 6-month fixed term contract.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

Matric essential
Degree or Diploma in Finance Management.
Minimum 2 years experience in a creditors' role, conducting creditor accounting and administration.
Experience in the Automotive industry, a strong advantage.

Key Performance Areas:
Report to the Finance Controller:

Full creditors function:
- Reconcile creditors balance to creditors statements;
- Prepare and submit creditors payments.
- Maintain creditors master files;
Cash management and forecasts.
Update and maintain cashbook, including bank reconciliations of outstanding items.
Process all import stock payments for payment of Goods-in-transit).
Submit information for relevant accruals in the general ledger.
Prepare ledger balances and initial trial balance, including all reconciliations, balance sheet accounts for audit and year-end processes.
Banking - load new creditors (local & foreign); weekly bank transfers (creditors & wages).
Forex - revalue foreign creditors and bank accounts.
Conduct foreign payment administration.
Process statutory payments on e-Filing.
General administration duties.
