My client is seeking an experience Creditors Clerk to join their financial team.

POSITION INFO:

My client is seeking an experience Creditors Clerk to join their financial team.

Responsibilities:

• Verify all that all documents are correct before processing
• Match supplier invoices to relevant orders and POD's
• Capture invoices and credit notes
• Reconcile supplier statements and clear old recon items 
• Reconcile creditors control accounts and aged analysis
• Reconcile outstanding Goods Received Notes and Goods Returned Vouchers
• Extract authorised payments
• Send remittance advices to suppliers after payment run
• File and store invoices and creditors documents
• Handle all creditors queries 
• Complete and file of supplier credit applications
• Prepare month-end & year-end reports on outstanding creditors
• Adhere to company internal banking verification processes

Requirements: 

• 1 year experience in Accounts Payable, handling high volume transactions 
• Proficient in Excel, paperless system approach 
• Strong attention to detail, and understanding of accounting principles 
• Able to work independently, highly self disciplined 
• Problem solver, critical thinker
