SUMMARY:
Datacentrix is looking for a Creditors Clerk/Accounts Payable Officer with Great Plains to reconcile of creditors/supplier accounts and prepare EFTs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric and Diploma in Financial Management
5-10 yearsâ experience as a creditors clerk
Previous creditors experience compulsory
Great Plains and advance Excel experience - required
Performance driven and attention to detail. Must be a peopleâs person and team player
POPIA â understand what is required of you in terms of POPIA legislation and abide by company policy related to this

Overall responsibilities:

Processing invoices/expenses to the correct accounts and to ensure the detail captured is accurate for management reporting.
Reconciling the supplier statements to the transactions processed on the accounting system, processing and applying payments and credit notes.
Resolving creditors queries on supplier statements and great plains no queries older than 30 days
Meet deadlines and ensure creditors/suppliers are paid on time.
Accounting and accruals knowledge: Compile the accruals spread sheet to ensure expenses are accounted for in the correct financial period.
Ensure BEE compliance.
