SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-oriented Creditors / CashBook Clerk with a passion for numbers and accuracy?

POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking a Creditors / Cash Book Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and reconciling supplier invoices, managing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in Pretoria East.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile creditor accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
Accurately capture and allocate costs while ensuring correct VAT application.
Process payments within strict deadlines and monitor outstanding amounts.
Analyze creditor aging reports and investigate discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date unmatched invoices.
Reconcile key supplier accounts before payment runs and resolve any issues.
Ensure invoices are filed systematically and accessible for audits.
Handle supplier queries professionally and efficiently.
Capture and process bank payments and imports.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

Requirements:

Matric with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
A diploma in Finance or Accounting will be an advantage.
Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level).
Strong numerical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage high-volume transactions.
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Own reliable transport is essential.
