SUMMARY:
Our external client in the Logistics sector is looking for a Customer Business Solutions Specialist to work in collaboration with the Regional Customer Business Solutions Manager and will assist with commercialising and implementing the company Logistics Global Business Solutions (IS Solutions) among customers. The CBS Specialist will work within their specified perimeter and shall, take into consideration Commercial, Operational and IS constraints, to propose and implement a customer oriented optimized solution while using standard modules.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Function:
Contribute to the information Management Global offer commercialisation
  • Raise Sales Force awareness and understanding of the Business Solutions and systems including the use of its different modules (LINK, LINK APP, LINK CONNECT/EDI, REPORTING)
  • Present the Global Business Solutions to clients.
  • Customise specific demo based on requirements.
  • Train customers on the Business Solutions Tools (LINK, LINK APP, LINK CONNECT, REPORTING)
  • Support the Front Office by producing KPI Dashboards and Reporting.
 
Design and propose an Offer
  • Analyse customer needs in terms of Business Solutions and write related requirements
  • Support tenders in terms of Business Solutions
  • Ensure customer Business Solutions development and proper deployment
 
Implement an offer
  • Write Business Offer operating process and ensure CBS network agreement
  • Write requirements needs and/or functional requirements specification of Business Solutions
  • systems evolution
  • Write specific requirements for EDI
  • Support Customers to all Business Solutions tools (LINK, LINK APP, LINK CONNECT,
  • REPORTING)
  • Ensure Level 1 support on Business Solutions applications to internal users
  • Design and create automated tracking reports on the Business Intelligence Platform.
  • Build and provide key indicators (KPI, KOI, KFI)
  • Manage overall implementation project or focused on an expertise (LINK CONNECT,Reporting)
 
Build Internal Monitoring Tools
  • Provide tools to teams in charge of Data Quality (DQ) for internal monitoring
  • Coordinate with MIS on technical issues raised by DQ issues
  • Monitor the quality of data collected in the transport management system and highlight discrepancies.
  • Control and Monitor the reliability of data in the tracking system
 
KPI Reporting & Dashboards
  • Organize the distribution of specific tracking reports through the use of the Business Intelligence Platform (IBM Cognos) based on client’s requirements (via KAM/GAM, Sales Department).
  • Assist with internal Cognos reporting needs as required by Senior stakeholders, Operational teams and Commercial.
  • Distribute tracking performance reporting and analysis to Operations Managers, Chief Operation Officer, Country MD and Regional MD and Commercial Directors
  • Analyse the data to evaluate each country’s performance based on pre-defined KPI’s.
  • Participate in Monthly and Quarterly Business reviews for presentation of performance on KPI’s.
 
System Gap Analysis
  • Detect potential dysfunctions and/or entries deficits in our business solutions systems and coordinate correctives actions with quality service (root causes)
  • React to any rising information related to process gaps
 
Continuous Improvements
  • Participate in continuous improvement plans
  • Propose and follow-up actions plan to improve performance / quality of service in association with Operations Managers and Sales teams
  • Follow-up and analyse the quality of service delivered to clients
  • Provide elements for customers’ contractual activity reviews
  • Participate in improvement plans and customer productivity implementation and monitoring
  • Conduct regular reviews with customer on Business Solutions deployment
 
Community  Networking
  • Exchange with others CBS on best practices
  • Come up with new ideas and participate in workshops relating to the Bollore internal tools evolution
  • Act as a pilot for any substantial functionalities made by MIS
 
Alert/Inform Management
  • Alert and report dysfunctions to Management
  • Inform Management of any significant quality service deterioration.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge on Logistic Freight forwarder processes and supporting system landscapes.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint with the ability of building Dashboards.
  • Experience working with Data visualisation tools, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Analytical Experience which includes data analysis, report compilation and data manipulation
  • Experience with functional specifications for EDI & API integration
  • 3-5 years of experience with Logistic systems or other major Transport Management systems (TMS) products.
  • Excellent English Proficiency
