JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Customer Service – Medical Insurance (English & Amharic Speaking)

 

The Customer Service team member will be responsible for all functional areas and processes relating to our clients (members, partners & service providers).

 

The purpose of this role is to provide high quality customer service to all our clients, maintain operational efficiency and adherence to the agreed upon service level agreements, In line with the client standing goal to constantly improve internal processes, protocols and practices, there will be an expectation on the successful Candidate to not only master the existing processes, protocols, and practices, but constantly look for improvements and introduce these into practice.

 

Preferred Skills, Experience

  • Fluently speak, read, and write English & Amharic
  • Experience in customer service and claims
  • A high degree of attention to detail ensuring that processes are accurately followed and in accordance with the policy benefits.
  • A “can do” attitude and critical thinking will stand the successful candidate in good
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular, Microsoft Excel and
  • Knowledge of local culture and processes within
  • Clear communication, persuasive speaking & problem-solving

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidates’ duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Processing of all day-to-day activities including inbound and outbound
  • Attend and resolve all client queries received from members, partners, or service
  • Claims processing and follow-up of outstanding
  • Maintaining, training, and expanding network of service
  • Internal Process development and
  • Constantly streamlining and improving processes, protocols and practices within the customer service and claims processing environment.

 

Location and working hours

The successful applicant must be based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

Formal working hours apply from Monday to Fridays, 08:00 to 17:30, the successful applicant may be required to work afterhours.
