SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Customs Clearing Agent to join their team in East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Planning and Procurement of parts according to customer demands
Update and maintain accurate stock on financial system BAAN in conjunction with weekly material requirements planning
Issuing of clearing instructions for import shipments
Monitor suppliers for over or under supply and escalate any problems
Ensure sufficient stock levels and control to support the company's customer’s production line
Monitor and update Supply Chain Tools, to ensure sufficient stock levels and control to support the company's customer’s production line
BAAN and capturing final shipping notifications
MRP runs, releases and evaluating suppliers according to their supply performance
Comply with SARS rules and regulations for quarterly returns on all customers
Attend Engineering Change meetings, and ensure new parts are in-plant before the engineering change date

Job Requirements:
NQF 4 (Grade 12) + National Diploma in Logistics
5 -10 years relevant experience in Material requirement planning in a first tier automotive company supplying to most OEMs
Customs tariff headings and Incoterms
5- 10 year relevant experience in Bond store control and management with a clear understanding of Rebate
items and SARS requirements for a Bond Store
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to analyze customer releases vs. supplier deliveries and plan thereof
Customer and CX release portal experience
Excellent communication, Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making abilities and persuasion skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deal with complexity
