POSITION INFO:

Key Functional Responsibilities:

• Warehouse, Inventory & Transport Management.
• Customer Service.
• Continuous Improvement.
• Reporting.
• Costs and Budgeting.
• Master delivery schedule.

• People.
• Note:  The above list is not exhaustive, and you shall be obliged to perform subsidiary tasks in addition to the primary tasks for which you are employed. Experience Required:

• Years:  8 – 12.
• Field: Senior Distribution Centre Operational Management
• Industry: Warehousing & Distribution, Transport, FMCG, QRS or Similar

Work Experience Required:

• Senior Operational Management.
• Health & Safety Management.
• Facility & Asset Management.
• Contingency Planning & Management.
• Best Practice / Continuous Improvement Management.
• Management of multi temperature stock items.
• Management of complex, multi-site, multi-disciplinary, multi-culture organizations.
• Integrated strategy formulation and execution within large organizations of 400 plus employees.
• People Management.
• Unionized Workforce Management.
• Culture development.
• Organizational planning.
• Change Management.

Qualification Required:

• Grade 12.
• Relevant Tertiary Degree, Honours Degree in Business / Supply Chain Management or similar, MBA would be advantageous.

Computer Literacy Required:

• MS Office (PowerPoint, Projects, Word, Outlook)
• Advanced MS Excel Skills
• Advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) Skills
• Accounting Software:  Microsoft Great Plains
