SUMMARY:
Position available for an experienced and qualified DC Manager in the Northern Suburbs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:
  • Planning and scheduling of stock inflows
  • Processing of stock as per WMS procedures
  • Productivity targets in UPM’s
  • Eliminate bottlenecks
  • Process adherence and continuous improvement
  • Efficient administration and compliance for stock statements and stock adjustments
  • Effective financial controls and compliance to financial budget inputs
  • People management – Recruitment, performance appraisals, talent, and succession planning
  • Management of employee relations
  • Budget control and ordering cycle of the hangers to ensure no stock-outs whilst within budgets
  • Ensure proper recording of supplier errors and process are adhere to
  • Tactical re-pricing is done as per business requirement.
Requirements:
  1. A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
  2. Supply Chain Certification
  3. Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
  4. 5years’ experience in a managerial role within a Logistics or Warehouse environment
  5. Experience with Shipping and container processes
  6. Management of labour-intensive processes
  7. IR and collective bargaining processes
  8. Exposure to OHASA regulations
  9. Intermediate computer skills
