DRAUGHTSPERSON / ESTIMATOR – ALBERTON (3774)

Qualifications:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualifications

Requirements:

• 5 – 10 years’ experience working as an Internal Sales Estimator in the Engineering / Mining Industry
• 5 – 10 years’ Draughting experience in the Engineering / Mining industry will be an advantage
• Be able to read single part technical drawings as well as general assembly drawings
• Be able to breakdown General assembly drawings into the various components for quoting & manufacturing purposes
• Identify components that require value added services E.g.Rolling/bending, drilling,countersinking, machining, welding.

• Be able to do developments for rolling and bending
• Good knowledge of the standard carbon grades E.g., Vrn / S355JR-AR. Knowledge of Chromium Carbide materials an advantage
• Able to draw with computer aided design software (AutoCAD / SigmaNest)
• Be able to work with all functions of SigmaNest
• Computer skills – MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Pastel Evolution an advantage
• Must be able to use measuring equipment
• Must have technical background
• Self-Driven Team player
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Must be able to assist customer with technical quarries and information
• Of sober habits
• Have a stable work record and contactable references
