Cow Management (600 Holstein cows)
Feeding allocation (pasture allocation and silage allocation) and grass management
Breeding (artificial insemination), identification and treatment of sick cows, heifer and calf rearing, cow data entry on Delaval Alpro and DIMMSA
Staff Management – allocation of tasks to staff members, monitoring staff performance
Assisting the farm manager with the overall running of the farm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DAIRY FARM MANAGER - KZN MIDLANDS
Cow Management (600 cows)
Feeding allocation (pasture allocation and silage allocation) and grass management
Breeding (artificial insemination), identification and treatment of sick cows, heifer and calf rearing,
Cow data entry daily
Staff Management – allocation of tasks to staff members, Monitoring staff performance
Assisting the farm owner with the overall running of the farm
