Data Analyst roles - Manchester
Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their analytics/modelling team where they deliver solutions that will boost economy growth and infrastructure in the North.
The Role:
They're looking to bring in an experienced analyst, which will involve both project delivery and analytical research.
You'll join a team of analysts where you'll deliver information and models that can provide insight for decision makers. This role will give you the chance to undertake strategic analysis and applying specialist techniques to various datasets.
Your work will benefit the whole of the UK when it comes to infrastructure and the economy - meaning your team will take the work very seriously. You'll be working on present-day data where you'll be predicting how the future may look using your models you create insight.
The Company:
Your company are trying to change the view of the UK government, so you'll be taking an evidence-based approach, using state of the art analytical tools to back up your theory.
Requirements:
You'll be an experienced modeller from an analytical background, where you'll be comfortable working in a heavily R&D focused role that gives you the chance to make game-changing recommendations to decision makers. You'll also be capable of providing line management duties, business planning, and procurement.
From a technical point of view, you'll be comfortable with the following:
- Python, R, MATLAB or SQL
- Mathematical and Statistical Modelling
- Stakeholder management, with the ability to support the more junior members of the team
Benefits:
- A salary ranging from £33,000-£42,000.
