Data Architect On-site Pretoria Duration: 12 months Contract terms: Time & Material Please indicate your rate per hour / monthly salary requirements. As a Data Architect your duties and responsibilities will include designing and implementing data solutions that support the organization''s strategic goals. This involves creating blueprints for data management systems to centralize, protect, and maintain the integrity of information. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, IT professionals, and senior management, to identify data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you will oversee the development and maintenance of databases, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient. This includes monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing queries. You will also be responsible for establishing data governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance with regulations. Part of your role will involve staying current with emerging technologies and best practices in data architecture, and applying this knowledge to enhance existing systems. Training and mentoring junior team members to build their skills and promote a culture of data literacy within the organization will also be a key responsibility. Lastly, effective communication skills are essential, as you will need to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear documentation of data architectures and processes. Your work will be crucial in enabling the organization to leverage data as a strategic asset, driving informed decision-making and innovation. Requirements: 5+ years working experience.
