POSITION INFO:
Are you driven by the challenge of using data to combat fraud? A leading bank is looking for an experienced Fraud Data Scientist to join their dynamic team. With a strong reputation in the industry, they seek a charismatic individual who can apply advanced analytics and machine learning to protect their financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Use data to uncover insights and develop solutions that enhance decision-making processes.
Provide a seamless customer experience while mitigating fraud and money laundering risks on electronic payment platforms.
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to optimize system performance.
Design algorithms and heuristics to identify high-risk transactions and automate real-time decision-making.

Qualifications:

Honours degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Experience:

Proven experience in payments and modelling.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Oracle, R, Python, and SQL.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
