The company are a healthcare start-up working to make medical testing easier and more accessible. They have various products (and are developing more!) that are really transforming medical testing.
They are looking for a Data Scientist with a focus on Computer Vision to join their algorithms team and work closely with the development teams on some new and super cool projects. You'll be working on their existing projects, as well as having the opportunity to get stuck into some research to help come up with exciting and innovative new ideas.
There is definitely still an exciting start-up feel about them; however, they are bringing in a profit from their existing products, and have just secured a new round of funding, so you get all of the start-up culture without the risk (not bad, eh?).
Tech-wise you should have:
**Knowledge of Computer Vision, and experience with Computer Vision frameworks (OpenCV, Tensorflow, or similar)
**Strong Python skills
It would be a bonus if you had:
**Experience with cloud technologies (AWS would particularly be a bonus, but any would do)
**Exposure to machine learning or deep learning techniques
They don't have an office just now, so you'll be working fully remotely for the time being, although most of the team is based up in Edinburgh - so there is plenty of chance to meet up and work collaboratively and get involved with the social side of things if that's where you're based!
Salary-wise, they are offering up to £55k. However, they know how crazy the market is just now, so can provide some flexibility there for the right candidate!
