JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
- Data analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement and enable insights
- Built data solutions for various business units
- Built predictive models, that enable business to do customer classifications and segmentation
- Basic understanding of machine learning models
- Understanding the data value chain from data management practices to data analytics
- Partner with Technology teams to be able to work on multiple technology platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management to understand the data pain-points and enable various business/product areas to be data lead
- Maintain the data backlog, continually evaluate, priorities the work required to ensure that business strategy is enabled by the right data
- Work with business to understand the business case to support business goals, outline use cases, and quantify the potential benefits
- Build dashboards to provide detailed insights for business partners. Experience and Education Required
- Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in data analysis or business analyst role
- An understanding of IT environment
- Basic knowledge working with SQL, Hadoop, AWS
- Be able to work with data analytics programming language like Python, R and Scala
