Data Scientist - Manchester
A software/data company in Manchester are looking for a Data Scientist to join their team as they look to scale up with some big work on the horizon.
The company:
This company mainly work on public sector and government focussed projects, doing work in National Security, Health, Policing, and Law Enforcement sectors. This means your work will be driving real world change and having a big impact on people's lives, which gives the team that real vigour.
You'll join a collaborative environment where you'll get to work on exciting projects in a team that are striving towards the same goal and looking for positive change. They've hired other Data Scientists and ML Engineers who you'll work closely alongside.
The role:
As a Data Scientist, your team are responsible for analysing customer requirements through long term projects in order to show how they can leverage their data.
You will use various data science techniques to design and build solutions to customer problems. This can involve working in tight-knit teams to design, train, test and deploy Machine Learning models, applying statistical methods, ingesting pipelines, and visualising data for stakeholders.
Package
The company host hybrid working practises, with the data team going in roughly one day per week giving everyone some flexibilty. For someone at this level they're paying in a range of £45,000-£60,000, with bonuses, share options, enhanced pension, self-training budgets and more.
