Database Service Desk Consultant required to join a very successful technical consultancy in their established support team in London or Edinburgh.
There is a great opportunity to progress both technically and professionally. Many employees going in at Junior levels have been given the opportunity to become seasoned Database Administrators.
This role should appeal to those keen to specialise in Database Administration (Oracle, SQL Server and IFS).
We are keen to speak with high calibre graduates who have graduated within Computer Science and / or other IT related disciplines.
On 39 hours per week on rotational basis. (3 days per week)
Shift Patterns
** Nightshift from 6:30pm-7:30am
** Dayshift from 07:30am - 06:30pm
Key Responsibilities / Requirements:
** IT graduate with a solid educational background is a must
** Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server would be a distinct advantage, but not essential
** Good working knowledge of data entry, maintenance and management of enterprise solution products
** Good Knowledge or working experience with enterprise software would be highly desirable
** Ability to learn new software products quickly combined with a genuine interest & enthusiasm
** Excellent communication skills, combined with previous experience in a customer facing technical Service Desk environment
