We are recruiting A Dealer Sales Consultant for our Client’s Sales Department in Polokwane to promote their services to the Dealer Industry and to meet sales targets. The objective is to provide a high level of visibility and support in order to increase installation volumes from this sales channel. Our Client requires a self-starter with an outgoing personality who can communicate confidently on all levels. As this position involves travelling, a valid Driver’s Licence is essential. Preference will be given to candidates from the previously disadvantaged groups.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
Provide policy/product information.
Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers.
Area and market penetration.
Query and account resolution.
Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis.
Provide client service to prospective clients.
Administration of sales contracts.
Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers.
Complete daily activity reports.
Attend to point of sale material at partners.
Maintain set sales call cycle.
Achieve sales targets regarding assigned projects.
Attend to necessary administration.
Attend occasional after hour functions.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric and a minimum of 3 years hunter sales experience with proven track record.
Hunter Mentality/Can do attitude.
Built a customer account base from 0.
Define a ‘Go To Market ‘plan against a defined target and prospects.
Proficiency in MS-Office.
Excellent presentation skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
