Our client is looking for an experienced passenger vehicle driver for their dealership.

The Dealership Driver plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and safe transportation of vehicles, customers, and documents while upholding the dealership's standards of service excellence.
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the motor industry and must have recent experience as a driver within a dealership environment.  
 
Remuneration:
R 7500 – 8300 Negotiable based on experience. Benefits including Provident Fund, Medical Aid.

POSITION INFO:
Duties include:
Vehicle Transport

• Safely deliver and collect customer vehicles to and from the dealership.
• Transport vehicles between branches or external locations as required.

• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers.
• Assist customers with vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring a positive experience.

• Accurately complete and maintain all required delivery and vehicle inspection documentation.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is signed by the recipient and promptly submitted to the office.

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections for cleanliness, fuel, and roadworthiness.
• Report any vehicle issues, damages, or maintenance needs promptly to the manager.

• Follow all road safety rules, dealership protocols, and relevant transportation regulations.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and ensure personal compliance with traffic laws.

• Assist with other dealership tasks such as moving vehicles on the floors, supporting service staff, or administration functions if/when needed.

• Matric Certificate (or equivalent)
• Must have a Valid driver’s license preferably with PDP and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a driver (preferably in a dealership or automotive environment).
• Familiarity with vehicle models and basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
• Punctual and reliable with a professional demeanour.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, especially during vehicle inspections.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Be able to write and read and speak English
• Be familiar with GPS (Google Maps, Waze Etc)
