POSITION INFO:

Our Global Client are in need of a Debezium Consultant for a short project/discovery exercise (this is a specialised Role)

We are seeking a technical expert with large scale, real-world Debezium operational experience, initially for a short-term discovery exercise.

They have implemented Debezium for change data capture between the Microsoft SQL server database (operating on a Windows server) of its legacy application and the various data storage technologies including (TBC specify) of its new technology framework hosted under Kubernetes. The Kafka broker and the Debezium connector are housed in-cluster and managed by Strimzi using CRDs.

This discovery exercise may well lead to a longer-term implementation project to strengthen the Debezium deployment and to train the staff.
